Responsibilities
Solution Design & Delivery: Lead the configuration and deployment of SAP FI and CO modules, ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs and scalable for future growth.
Process Improvement: Analyze and enhance financial processes (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, etc.) to improve accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Integration Oversight: Ensure smooth integration with other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP) and external systems to support end-to-end financial flows and reporting.
Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders, project teams, and developers to deliver high-impact solutions and drive business value.
Governance & Leadership: Provide strategic guidance on finance transformation initiatives, support change management, and mentor junior consultants.
Training & Support: Oversee end-user training and provide ongoing support to ensure successful adoption and optimal use of FI/CO functionalities.
Qualifications
Functional Expertise: Minimum 12 years of experience with deep knowledge of financial and controlling processes, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Internal Orders. Strong experience in integrating SAP FI/CO with other modules (SD, MM, PP) and third-party systems. Skilled in business process mapping, configuration, and end-user training.
Communication & Project Leadership: Proven ability to engage with finance stakeholders, lead workshops, draft functional specifications, and support key project phases such as UAT and go-live. Experienced in project coordination, risk management, and ensuring successful delivery of SAP finance solutions.
Languages: Fluent in German (mandatory) and English, with strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills. French is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
