Job Description Swissquote’s Trading tribe explores and validates opportunities before they hit delivery. You’ll operate as a Design Strategist: shaping problems, uncovering customer/jobs-to-bedone, and crafting clear, testable concepts and design briefs that enable Product Trading Managers and squads to execute with confidence. You’ll combine service design, product discovery, and prototyping to reduce risk early and align stakeholders around measurable outcomes. What you’ll do Lead discovery for a trading domain (e.g., onboarding/funding, order entry, charts & insights, portfolio/positions, corporate actions). Frame problems & opportunities: synthesize qual/quant signals, define target segments & jobs-to-be-done, articulate value hypotheses and success metrics. Concept development: create option sets (narratives, flows, storyboards, low-fi prototypes) and compare trade-offs, risks, and cost-to-build/operate. Design briefs that travel well: turn concepts into concise, unambiguous briefs with scope, hypotheses, acceptance criteria, KPIs, constraints (legal/compliance/ops), and dependencies. Service perspective: map journeys and service blueprints (frontstage/backstage), identify failure points, operational implications, and data needs. Evidence-driven decision-making: plan and run lightweight tests with the UX Researcher & Data (problem/solution fit, usability risk, desirability/viability/feasibility checks). Stakeholder facilitation: co-create with Product Trading Manager, Engineering, Compliance/Legal, Operations, and Customer Support; drive alignment and decisions. Design principles & guardrails: define patterns, standards, and “non-negotiables” for the trading experience; partner with Design System without owning UI craft. Outcome reporting: communicate insights, recommendations, and go/no-go proposals; establish learning goals per initiative and follow through post-launch with PM
