Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) in the food sector

To strengthen our team, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) in the Food Sector to start immediately.
Your tasks and responsibilities
* (Co-)development and implementation of group-wide procurement strategies and goals
* Managing the demand process in collaboration with experts and stakeholders
* Overseeing the procurement and tendering process (sourcing, requests for information, requests for quotations, negotiations)
* Managing the supplier selection process
* Conducting contract negotiations and concluding framework agreements
* Procurement controlling: recording and updating data for the reporting system
* Analyzing and monitoring market trends to identify new sourcing opportunities
* Tracking relevant market data and trends for assigned product categories
* Handling operational issues in daily business (e.g., delayed or missing supplier deliveries)
* Collaborating with other departments such as product development, quality assurance, and logistics/supply chain
* Conducting supplier audits and evaluations
* Developing and maintaining strategic partnerships and supplier relationships
Your profile
* Completed studies in economics, supply chain management, or equivalent qualification
* Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement, ideally in the food sector
* Strong negotiation skills, communication abilities, and assertiveness
* Analytical thinking and structured work approach
* High degree of initiative, strategic thinking, and team spirit
* Proficiency in MS Office; ERP system experience is a plus
* Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
* Solid procurement knowledge
* Basic legal and financial understanding
* Familiarity with the products and services in the area of responsibility
* Understanding of the supplier market
