About the role

What you'll do
1. Provide legal advice on Swiss and international capital market issues, including regulatory, securities law, civil law, litigation, enforcement, and supervisory law matters.
2. Advise business lines and internal stakeholders on legal matters such as financial market laws, IT law, outsourcing, third-party risk management, pension and insurance law, and corporate law.
3. Support strategic projects, including group transformation, audits, regulator requests, and new business setups.
4. Draft and assess agreements and contracts, including service agreements, intra-group agreements, licenses, and distribution contracts.
5. Review and draft group documentation, policies, marketing materials, and press releases, especially concerning data protection.
6. Review and establish financial products, complex transactions, and SPV structures.
7. Manage corporate governance and commercial documentation.
8. Implement legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Leonteq Group, potentially serving as Legal Project Manager.
What you'll need
1. Master's degree in law
2. Admitted to the Swiss Bar
3. 4-5 years of post-qualification experience
4. Knowledge of Swiss financial laws, regulations, and supervisory law
5. Interest and experience in financial markets, derivatives, and structured products
6. Excellent analytical and organizational skills
7. Fluency in German and English
