Werkstudent:in Compliance mit Fokus auf Data Privacy Management & Export Control (40%–60%) – part time. Company: Siemens.
As a Werkstudent, you will support our Data Privacy and Export Control teams with a broad range of tasks and challenges. You’ll deepen your understanding of privacy and export‑control compliance and help shape practices across multiple business units. The position starts on 1 February 2025 or by mutual agreement.
Responsibilities
* Support and advise on various privacy‑ and export‑control related questions.
* Analyze and maintain relevant data on export controls and privacy, and assist with internal compliance projects.
* Assist the Data Privacy Team with the upkeep of Siemens’ internal process register (providing an overview of applications that process personal data).
* Help the Export Control Manager ensure compliance with national and international export‑control regulations (Swiss, EU, US, etc.), including checks of partner, product, end‑use, and country restrictions.
* Prepare and support presentations for management meetings (e.g., Compliance Review Boards) and help organize and conduct staff trainings.
Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in law, business administration, or a related field.
* Analytical, structured, and highly organized with a proactive mindset.
* Proficient in MS Office.
* Friendly and able to communicate openly with colleagues.
* Excellent written and spoken German and English.
* Commitment to a minimum of 18 months in the role (longer stay preferred, especially for master students who wish to continue).
* Must be enrolled at a Swiss university to qualify for this position.
* Start date: 1 February 2025 or by mutual agreement.
