The Translator-Reviser plays a key role in supporting the organization's translations Team by ensuring that French translations are accurate, consistent, and delivered on time. This position is responsible for both translating and revising a wide range of documents in French, including high-profile or sensitive materials that require quick turnaround. Translate short texts and documents as needed to meet urgent deadlines. Review and proofread French translations by internal and external translators to ensure quality. Provide feedback and training to translators, both internal and external. Post-edit AI-generated translations of funding requests and other internal-use documents to expedite processes and reduce costs. Collaborate with client teams to clarify content and terminology. Ensure translated documents maintain consistent messaging aligned with the organization's guidelines. Manage and update the French translation database to enhance speed and consistency among contractors and in-house translators. Research, test, and implement new translation tools. Profile At least 10 years of experience as a translator/reviser, ideally within the health, science, financial, or legal sectors. Expert proficiency in computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools.
