Support us in the production and development of cutting-edge medical technology solutions that enable people around the world to self-manage diabetes and other chronic diseases.
* In your role as Account Manager you:
* are responsible for the current and future business with existing customers
* coordinate communication with customers as well as all acquisition activities between Ypsomed’s management and the product areas
* foster your understanding of our customers’ decision processes, actively manage the relationship, and ensure consistent communication with the customer
* identify, evaluate, and acquire new projects with existing customers
* In your role as Business Development Manager you:
* acquire new customers
* follow the latest developments in Pharma and Biotech, pursuing sales-leads in your sales region
* present and promote our existing and new products as well as platforms at international industry events
* participate in seminars, trade shows as well as congresses
* In both roles, you will prepare quotations, respond to requests for proposal, lead contract and price negotiations and will manage contracts. While so doing, you closely collaborate with a broad range of internal stakeholders and will drive these processes
Your profile
* University degree in science, engineering, economics, or equivalent / relevant experience
* Executive degree in economics (e.g., MBA) for scientists or engineers
* Several years of experience in a comparable position (customer facing, product oriented) in a project driven environment. Industry experience is a plus
* Good communication, analytical thinking, can-do attitude, apt to work in a matrix and think in networks
* Very good written and oral English for non-native speakers. Conversational German for English native speakers
