Sales Engineer Position Overview
This role focuses on providing technical and commercial support to authorities, customers, and consulting engineers in assigned markets.
Key objectives include developing in-depth knowledge of the markets and building a strong reputation.
The Sales Engineer will work closely with the Team Lead and Area Management to lead business development activities and define market strategies.
Responsibilities
* Act as point of contact for key partners, consulting engineers, contractors, and authorities.
* Understand each stakeholders' requirements and develop long-term collaborative relationships.
* Define best-in-class engineering solutions and propose them to external stakeholders.
* Prepare quotations for products and services in collaboration with internal departments.
* Clear communication of commercial and technical proposals within quotations.
* Handle commercial and contractual negotiations.
* Support key partners, establish and maintain strong relationships, and identify partnerships.
* Organise promotional activities, engage in business-related travel, and meet with key stakeholders.
* Contribute to internal product, service, and process improvements.
* Further develop professional and technical knowledge through training and self-development.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A university degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in the construction industry, with sales/project management experience being a plus.
3. A good understanding of construction engineering and construction product-related business.
