Acer Europe, Middle East and Africa is seeking a dynamic and talented Marketing Specialist with a passion for gaming and understanding of the gaming community and technology trends. WORKPLACE TYPE
4 days per week working from the Bioggio office and 1 day remote
KEY Responsibilities
Marketing Communication
* Work closely with the global marketing teams to provide guidance on worldwide marketing initiatives and campaigns incl:
* Global campaign coordination, integration and amplification from planning & roll‑out to mentoring best practices to securing a consistent execution across the region
* Manage localization workflows and ensure tone consistency across languages
* Design promotional concepts and lead EMEA initiated demand generation opportunities
* Track campaign performance and report on communication KPIs.
* Ensure brand voice consistency across all touchpoints.
* Monitor gaming trends, community conversations, and competitor activities to inform communication strategies.
PR & Digital Media
* Management of EMEA Product Review programs (seeding units, allocation & media selection, review guides, media selection, KPI measurement & reporting)
* Assist in the development of strategic PR initiatives and coordination to secure a high share of voice, positive sentiment (messaging, NPIs, crisis communication)
* Track and report on campaign performance, media impact and KPIs
Events
* Responsible for planning, organisation, vendor management and execution of regional events (tradeshow, conventions, customers/press meetings, and internal meetings.)
Cross-functional Projects
* Lead and manage elements of cross‑functional projects and work within a matrix reporting structure
General Tasks & Administration
* Development of regular executive reports and status updates
* Support in administrative tasks such a preparing presentations;
* Vendor briefing & project management and budget tracking
INTERFACE (CUSTOMERS AND SUPPLIERS)
* Internal: Global, EMEA and Country Marketing, Product Marketing, PR & Events
* External: Agencies and service suppliers
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
* 2-5 years of marketing execution experience at an agency or client‑side in CE or IT industry
* Understanding of gaming culture, esports, and gaming hardware trends
* A proactive collaborator who thrives in a fast‑paced, international environment.
* Someone who can balance creativity with structured execution and data‑driven insights.
* Must be passionate for technology
* Strong skills to develop integrated marketing and go‑to‑market plans and its implementation
* Self‑starter and idea generator
* Experience working with influencers, gaming creators, or esports organizations.
* Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and social media best practices.
* Ability to analyze campaign performance and translate insights into recommendations.
* Experience working in multicultural, multilingual environments.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders across regions.
* Proficient with MS office applications, especially strong PowerPoint skills
LANGUAGES
* English proficiency is mandatory (excellent written and verbal communication).
* Additional European languages (e.g., German, French,) are a strong advantage.
