Service Area – Palm Springs, CA
Shift Requirements after onboarding/training for this role: M-F, 10:00-19:00
Responsibilities
* Service multi-modality, AX/XP Imaging Equipment in the Palm Springs, CA area. Customer Service Engineer Level II based on prior experience.
* Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
* Deliver timely and effective repairs as well as adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction.
* Manage financial performance within territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
* Manage company assets including company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
* Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately.
Candidate Profile
* Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
* Ability and experience to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately.
* Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment.
* General understanding of the principles of electricity, power supplies, and grounding.
Required Skills
* Minimum high school diploma; technical Associate’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
* Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment, able to work both individually and in an established team setting.
* Proficiency in all necessary network applications and tools (including but not limited to eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools).
* 3+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
* Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.
* Physical Requirements: lifting 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasp manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
* Excellent judgment in customer relations and management of company resources; strong competency in instrument systems technology to include mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology; experience with electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Base Pay Range
$64,060 - $88,088
