Position in Pediatric Dermatology
Within the Division of Dermatology and Venereology.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the Pediatric Dermatology Unit and supervising staff. She/He will ensure high-quality care for children with skin diseases, both outpatient and inpatient. Under the supervision of the Head of Division, she/he will also engage in teaching and research in pediatric dermatology.
The Unit is part of the Department of Medicine and is affiliated with the Pediatrics Division of the Woman-Mother-Child Department. The main clinical activities will take place at the main hospital, in collaboration with the Pediatrics Division. This position offers an excellent academic environment with leading clinical and research activities, state-of-the-art facilities, and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
Mission
Coordinate and manage care for children with skin disorders in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Manage the Pediatric Dermatology Unit administratively.
Conduct scientific research in pediatric dermatology.
Participate in teaching and continuing education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Represent the Unit at congresses and scientific societies to enhance visibility.
Profile
Federal medical diploma (or equivalent recognized by the relevant authority), MD or MD-PhD.
Over 5 years of specialized training and/or extensive experience in pediatric dermatology.
Professorial-level academic knowledge with a proven record in university teaching and establishing research programs supported by external funding.
Good command of French (minimum B2, C1 preferred) or ability to learn quickly.
Open personality, communicative, cooperative, capable of inspiring young colleagues aiming for hospital-academic careers.
