Responsibilities
* Analyze and design technical and business processes, coordinate system integration, and define interfaces.
* Translate business requirements into functional and non‑functional specifications, performing system and context boundary analysis.
* Break down requirements into smaller segments and collaborate with software engineers to develop implementation details.
* Ensure quality through reviews, test execution, test concept development, and acceptance criteria definition.
* Create clear and precise specifications, including UML and BPMN diagrams.
* Support operational aspects and provide support for user‑reported issues.
Qualifications
* Experience in Requirements Engineering with knowledge of methods and tools; education in computer science or software engineering is an advantage.
* Experience with a programming or scripting language, SQL, and testing REST or SOAP interfaces; automated testing experience is preferred.
* Analytical thinking with a keen eye for detail.
* Passion for documentation and problem‑solving, able to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable solutions.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Service orientation, willing to perform regular duty services in support.
* Fluent in German and proficient in English, or willing to develop communication skills.
