After 12 years of development, miniaturizing the processes of large bottling plants, we are now ready to launch our revolutionary water filtration and beverage solution globally.
Having developed a market leading technology and production process for water filtration, mineralization and drinks delivery, with all the challenges that it entails, the time has come to move from development to growth. Over the past two years we have been soft-launching, testing our products with customers and ironing out all the early issues that come with new technologies. Our plan is to launch and roll out our product range in 2025.
Your role:
We're looking for a self-motivated Hardware/Firmware Engineer to join our team in Ticino. In this role, you'll take full ownership of hardware and firmware development—from concept to deployment. You should be comfortable designing hardware, debugging issues, and writing embedded firmware in C. This is a hands-on, versatile role ideal for someone who enjoys working across disciplines and is open to occasional travel for field support.
Key responsibilities:
* Independently design and develop hardware (schematics, PCB layout, component selection) for the LANG dispensing systems
* Perform board bring-up and hardware debugging using standard lab tools
* Develop embedded firmware in C (mainly on ARM Cortex microcontrollers)
* Support system integration, testing and troubleshooting
* Travel occasionally for on-site deployment and support
Required skills:
* BSc or MSc in Hardware engineering or related fields
* At least 3 years of end-to-end hardware design experience
* Confident in soldering, PCB assembly, and rework (including fine-pitch components)
* Strong hands-on debugging skills (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter, etc.)
* Solid firmware development in C (focus on ARM Cortex platforms)
* Ability to work independently and proactively
* Ability to work well under pressure and in a startup environment
* Willingness to travel occasionally
* Fluent English, both written and spoken
Nice to have:
* Experience with RF systems and motor control
* Familiarity with hardware test automation
* Knowledge of one or more high-level programming languages (e.g. Python, Java)
* Knowledge of toolkits for UI development (e.g. Qt, Flutter)
* Experience with Linux/Android BSP (e.g. Yocto)
