Global Clinical Packaging Site Lead
We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the clinical drug labeling, packaging and device assembly production outsourced by Roche to a network of worldwide Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in the pharma industry, with expertise in clinical drug manufacturing or clinical supply chain management. A BA/BS Degree in a technical, business or supply chain field is preferred.
The successful candidate will serve as a Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) Site Manager, organizing and overseeing clinical drug labeling, packaging and device assembly production outsourced by Roche to a network of worldwide CMOs.
The role involves proactive management of CMO project onboarding, communications, timelines, and delivery performance for outsourced clinical packaging orders to meet supply chain needs while ensuring cost and quality objectives are met.
The Global Clinical Packaging Site Lead will partner with Procurement and other key stakeholders to drive the preparation for Requests for Proposal (RFPs) or Statements of Work (SOW), negotiate supply agreements and select vendors for outsourced clinical packaging.
This senior-level position requires demonstrated skills in project planning, project management and/or resource management, as well as a solid understanding of the pharma industry, supply chain, contract manufacturing and/or clinical manufacturing activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, tracking and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and actively driving successful network supply outcomes.
The ideal candidate will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and understanding of systems.
The ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and verbally is essential, with excellent English skills being required.
This is a full-time position with a mid-senior level of seniority, requiring flexibility to work across different time zones and schedules as needed to meet global environment demands.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 8+ years in the pharma industry, supply chain management or in manufacturing
* Experience with clinical drug manufacturing or clinical supply chain or contract manufacturing management strongly preferred
* Proficient knowledge and experience of SAP or ERP system
* BA/BS Degree, preferably in a technical, business or supply chain field
* APICS and/or SCOR certification, or equivalent relevant experience
