Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mortgage Operations Analyst to join our Mortgage Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of mortgage loans through to closing. This role requires in-depth knowledge of CH mortgage operations processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
* Review and process approved mortgage loan applications (new and refinanced) through to closure.
* Coordinate and communicate with client relationship managers, notaries, land registries and borrowers to collect the required documentation and close the mortgage.
* Prepare offer letters and contractual documents (in French)
* Review and explain terms to clients, before securing client signatures
* Coordinate with Notaries to register mortgage liens and prepare for disbursement and property transfer
* Disburse loan funds in accordance with contractual terms
* Input/update data (e.g. interest and amortization schedules) in mortgage and client data platforms
* Monitor for missed payments
* Support client enquiries
* Ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal Service Level Agreements and policies
* Maintain mortgage processing pipeline and track progress to ensure on-time closings.
* Perform quality control checks to ensure mortgage data meets all internal and external stakeholders requirements
* Provide regular status updates to borrowers and stakeholders.
* Support any audit requests and post-closing reviews.
Eligibility Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
* 2 years of mortgage processing or related mortgage operations experience, here in Switzerland
* Good knowledge of Swiss mortgage products (e.g. Fixed, SARON, etc)
* Experience in mortgage processing systems.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
* Notary designation is a plus.
Languages
* Fluent, French (spoken and written)
* English and/or German an advantage
