We are at home throughout Europe and always close to our customers.Systems & Senior Expert (f/m/d)On behalf of our client based in Geneva, we are looking for a Systems & Senior Expert (f/m/d) responsible for taking over, securing, and evolving a hybrid Windows / Linux infrastructure perimeter strongly integrating DevOps, Kubernetes / OpenShift environments, and VMware, Veeam, storage, Git, and Azure DevOps components. Start date scheduled for the 1st.Mission- Ensure the technical takeover and MCO of critical Windows / Linux production environments (including VMware, Veeam, SAN/NAS, and containerized components).- Analyze and map technical dependencies (scripts, scheduled jobs, services, flows, shares, technical accounts, rights, environment variables) in order to secure, refactor, and industrialize a set of PowerShell and Bash scripts, improving robustness, readability, error management, and traceability.- Prepare and conduct technical changes (impact analysis, rollback plan, intervention windows, post-change) and contribute to incident resolution.- Keep documentation up to date and produce technical diagrams and chains (scheduling, logs, inputs/outputs, artifacts, API calls, network connections), and contribute to the architecture trajectory and progressive modernization.Profile- Senior experience in systems and infrastructure on hybrid IS, with the ability to take over a complex existing production environment (order of magnitude: 7 to 10 years of relevant experience).- Advanced mastery of PowerShell and good mastery of Bash; ability to design, maintain, and refactor advanced scripts.- Expert knowledge of Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat) with confirmed experience in production management, incident analysis, and change management.- Mastery of DevOps oriented towards infrastructure: Git, Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, variables, agents, artifacts), YAML, CI/CD, secret management, environment management, and quality controls.- Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes and/or OpenShift) as well as VMware, Veeam, and storage components.- Autonomous, rigorous profile with a strong capacity for analysis and proposal.Working conditions- Advantageous working conditions: 6 weeks of vacation per year and a pension plan.- Development and enhancement of potential: wide range of professional and personal training offered by the Bechtle Academy.- Diversity: interesting and changing tasks in a future-oriented sector.Bechtle Switzerland AGBechtle Switzerland AG has certified skills in the following areas: IT Infrastructure, IT Management, Managed Services, Skills Management, Analytics, Printing Solutions, and E-Commerce.
