At the heart of what we build is a long-term preventive health management platform. It will give people a clear, ongoing picture of their health — helping them understand the results of their checks and track their status across key health domains, like heart & vessels, brain health, cancer risk, muscles, bones, and more. The platform delivers personalised guidance: when to schedule the next check, what lifestyle changes to consider, and how to take meaningful action based on their unique data.
You will be designing across our core products: the customer-facing health platform and our portal for medical partner labs. Also, you will interact closely with our growth team to contribute to the booking funnel and our public website.
About the job
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Digital Product Designer who thrives in scientific and technical environments and loves crafting thoughtful user experiences end-to-end, from first sketch to launched product.
As the founding designer on our team, you will own the entire design process end-to-end — from research and strategy through to pixel-perfect delivery. As Aeon scales, so will the design function, and this role is the foundation for that.
At Aeon, you will translate medically complex and sensitive information into a clear, empowering, and purposeful health management experience. You will design systems that make preventive health understandable and actionable.
You will be part of the Product & Technology team, collaborating closely with Software Engineering. You will also work with Growth & Marketing to launch experiments, test new features, and ensure that product, communication, and brand feel seamlessly integrated.
Tasks
* Partner with company leadership to define future concepts for making preventive health information understandable and accessible across domains such as cardiovascular, muscular, brain health and more
* Lead user research initiatives and translate insights into UX concepts, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs for our web platform
* Own the full visual design of the platform: UI components, color systems, data visualizations, medical iconography, and interaction patterns
* Design accessible experiences for a broad, non-expert user base - including micro-interactions that create moments of delight
* Contribute to CRO of the pre-purchase experience and support content design (UX copy and visual assets)
* Enable medical partner labs to collaborate efficiently through thoughtful platform design
* Work closely with engineering in sprint cycles to ensure smooth implementation and continuous refinement
* Mentor engineers and cross-functional teammates in user-centered design principles and usability
* Own and evolve the visual identity of the product, fostering a culture of quality, clarity, and thoughtful communication
Requirements
Must-haves
* Proven track record owning end-to-end digital product design
* A strong portfolio demonstrating clarity in B2C products that make complex information easy to understand for a general audience
* Skilled in Figma, including maintaining and evolving a Design System with variables
* Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards
* Genuine enthusiasm for health, prevention, and longevity
* Experience working closely with software engineers on implementation and optimization
* A proactive mindset — you enjoy driving initiatives from concept and research through first sketches to the final product
* Curious, driven, and motivated to understand how a startup operates end-to-end
* Willing to stay current with AI-enabled tools and methods for ideation, collaboration, and prototyping
* Fluent in English (German and/or French a strong plus)
* Available to work from our Winterthur office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
