Regional Sales Operations Manager - EU
YOUR CHALLENGES
1. Manage a team of approximately 10 Sales Operations Employees throughout Europe, including Switzerland, the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands.
2. Drive projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders such as operations, sales, finance, and IT to successful completion.
3. Prepare and present customer executive presentations, reports, spreadsheets, charts, and data analysis from multiple sources for internal and external use.
4. Build management reporting packages covering inventory levels, order management, and delivery analytics.
5. Drive monthly forecasting for discrete and consignment orders, revenue, and consignment inventory development.
6. Oversee company inventories, including onsite consignment for VAT customers and standard products for quick sale.
7. Maintain and execute soft and physical inventory processes, resolving discrepancies as needed.
8. Manage inventories to ensure accurate levels and KPIs, maintaining supply continuity for VAT’s customers.
9. Lead customer service teams to ensure accurate order management and a positive customer experience.
10. Serve as the main escalation point for major delivery and order management issues, collaborating with global VAT facilities for resolution.
11. Coordinate capacity planning and resource availability with manufacturing, purchasing, and business units to meet customer demand.
12. Lead domestic and international operations and logistics projects, working with various stakeholder groups.
YOUR COMPETENCIES
* Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
* Progressive experience in operations, order, and inventory management, including team management and mentoring.
* Experience in sales and distribution with a focus on inventory controls.
* Experience in business process engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Hands-on problem-solving approach.
* Strong desire for business process improvements and project resolution across business areas.
* Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, capable of developing complex reports and metrics.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
* Fluent in English and German.
