Responsibilities
* Execution of analytical testing for drug substance release, stability, and characterisation of biologics in compliance with cGMP/GDP regulations
* Application and operation of specialised analytical techniques, including capillary electrophoresis, isoelectric focusing, and protein concentration determination
* Support of analytical method validation and transfer processes, including the preparation of technical protocols and reports
* Accurate documentation of all laboratory activities in an electronic laboratory notebook in accordance with cGMP standards
* Troubleshooting of analytical methods to ensure seamless qualification and reliable execution in the laboratory
* Participation in equipment maintenance, calibration, and qualification activities as well as periodic reviews
* Adherence to all applicable internal regulations, including safety, health, and environmental protection guidelines
Qualifications
* Educational background in laboratory sciences: qualification as a laboratory technician (EFZ), or a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline
* Practical experience with capillary electrophoresis (e.g. Sciex PA800 Plus), isoelectric focusing (e.g. Maurice, BioTechne), and UV-based protein concentration determination
* Proficiency in chromatography data systems used for electrophoresis methods, such as Empower
* Solid cGMP working experience in a regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment
* Strong communication skills in both English and German (minimum B1–B2 level in both languages)
* Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, team-oriented settings
* Knowledge of protein biochemistry and/or biophysical analytical methods is an advantage
