Job description:
On behalf of a watchmaking manufacture recognised for its expertise and the excellence of its products, we are looking for a Quality Controller to strengthen the existing teams.
Your mission
Within the quality department, you are responsible for ensuring the conformity of watch components and casing, in compliance with the manufacture's quality standards.
Your responsibilities
Prepare and organise your workstation as well as the necessary tools
Ensure cleanliness and good upkeep of the workstation
Comply with quality standards, work instructions and internal procedures
Prepare the fixtures and appropriate measuring instruments: caliper, gauge, micrometer, durometer, comparator
Quality control of watch components
Check serial numbers, references and quantities
Apply the appropriate sampling plans (AQL or 100% control)
Identify and apply control standards: plans, control ranges, instructions, reference photos
Check the aesthetics of parts: scratches, dents, surface treatment marks
Perform dimensional checks according to plans: thickness, length, depth, other technical dimensions
Carry out specific checks: hardness, power reserve, amplitude
Package and protect parts according to defined standards
Assess the conformity of measurements according to current quality criteria
Monitoring and traceability
Ensure the computerised tracking of controlled parts: stock entry, rejects, rework, parts on hold
Enter and record measured values in internal software

Proven experience in watch quality control
Good command of conventional measuring tools
Reading technical plans is essential
Attention to detail, rigour and precision
Comfortable with IT tools
