The Lengnau site is a state-of-the-art biomanufacturing facility for biologics, offering high expansion potential and flexible manufacturing technologies from development to large-scale production.
Technical Responsibilities
* Manage, execute, and coordinate technical and process-related projects within the Project Engineering Organization.
* Lead engineering tasks supporting Capital Acquisition Requests, Bids/RFP, Engineering Design, Construction, and CVQ.
* Ensure scope, budget, safety, quality, and schedule adherence for assigned projects.
* Support establishing a Project PMO capable of delivering significant CAPEX projects.
* Mentor junior engineering colleagues and assist in internal resource development.
* Assess project risks and evaluate mitigation strategies.
* Prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering.
* 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's or 2+ years with a Master's in engineering, preferably in pharma, food, or chemical industries.
* Knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing in FDA-regulated facilities.
* Experience working in multicultural environments.
* Knowledge of Project Cost Control.
* Excellent communication skills in English; German or other European languages are a plus.
