About the position
As an Automation Project Manager, you play a central role in the management of complex technical projects related to industrial automation. You are responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of projects from the design phase to commissioning at the customer's site. You will also provide technical support, guaranteeing the quality, compliance and performance of the installations delivered.
Responsibilities
* Project management: planning, budget monitoring and meeting deadlines
* Electrical design: selection of components, schematics, safety loops
* Programming of PLCs and HMI interfaces (TIA Portal – Siemens)
* Commissioning of the systems (FAT/SAT) in-house and at our customers' sites
* Writing of technical documentation associated with the installations (functional specification, user manuals, IQ/OQ/PQ, SDS, HDS, SDS)
* Support to the sales team in the selection of components, cost evaluation and estimation of engineering time for our automation solutions
* Post-installation technical support for delivered solutions
Desired profile
* HES engineering degree or ES technician degree in automation (or training deemed equivalent)
* Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation, including programming Touch Panels and data exchange between systems is desired
* Mastery of Siemens PLCs and development under TIA Portal
* Knowledge of Rockwell and Allen Bradley automatons is a plus
* Fluency in English (C1 level) required; Good knowledge of German is an asset
* Knowledge of Good Automated Manufacturing Practices (GAMP) is an asset
* Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 requirements is an asset
* Sense of organization, rigor in execution, analytical and synthesis skills
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team
Travel
* One-off trips (around 10%) in Switzerland and abroad as part of the commissioning of the facilities
