Your focus will be on strategically and operatively managing procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers, overseeing the warehousing processes, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals. /p h3Your mission /h3 ul liLead and mentor a small procurement team, fostering a collaborative work environment /li liDevelop and implement an effective procurement strategy for Zurich aligned with global strategy and company objectives /li liEnsure availability of all purchased materials (raw, semi-finished, and finished goods) for further processing /li liAct as a sparring partner to engineering in managing local suppliers /li liCollaborate cross-functionally (engineering, customer service, finance, sales) to ensure seamless procurement coordination /li liIdentify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to secure optimal terms and quality /li liWork closely with sales to develop accurate demand forecasts /li liAnalyze and optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness. /li liPrepare and present regular procurement performance reports, including KPIs and cost-saving initiatives, to the executive team /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liAdvanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Business Administration or Purchasing (Betriebswirtschafter HF / dipl.
