POSITION OVERVIEW
The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing marketing strategies to meet business objectives in line with the regional initiative, product and channel strategies. This individual will implement marketing activities and support the sales organization in driving sales of the company's products and services for EMEA and support other regions with any marketing trends and opportunities as needed. This position reports to the EMEA Commercial Leader and will be located in Switzerland.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Implements the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including the definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in support of the applicable regions and global segment strategies.
* Works with Product Management, Segment Leaders, Business Development and Sales to define value propositions, channel product positioning and go-to-market strategies tied to the trends and opportunities in each vertical segment.
* Coordinates market analyses with Segment Leaders, Business Development and Sales team members. Evaluates and shares customer research (e.g., customer spending in growth initiative sector), market conditions and competitor data as available.
* Delivers appropriate product knowledge collateral and training (technical and sales) for each sales channel. Facilitates product knowledge sharing and cross-collaboration between Regional Sales, Channel Partners, FAE and Product Management teams.
* Ensures all commercialization deliverables (e.g., product presentations, datasheet, ordering guide, competitive analysis, samples, etc.) are completed for new products on time and communicated to Marketing Communications, Sales and Customers when appropriate.
* Leads trade show strategy and implementation within region working with Sales, Marketing Communication, Product and Segment management.
* Leads local web presence strategy including SEO and leveraging LinkedIn with regular postings and increasing the number of members following the company.
* Works with Sales and Marketing Communications to drive brand awareness in the region.
* Monitors and utilizes SFDC, Lead Central and other sales tools for analyses of pipelines and lead generation to utilize in go-to-market strategy. Generates SFDC campaigns through these actions and reports monthly progress to the region leader.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
* Five years of technical marketing experience.
* Ability and willingness to travel up to 70%.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Proficiency with computer tools. Advanced computer skills, primarily with MS Office software programs, i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and able to navigate internet and intranet tools.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* High degree of self-motivation; Able to work autonomously.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
* Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
* Possesses technical experience and analytical thinking.
* Experience required in either Switched-Mode Power Supply (SMPS) or Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) technologies.
