Responsibilities
1. General accounting functions and A/P and A/R management
2. Ensure correct execution of domestic and foreign money transfers
3. Preparation of statutory financial statements according to Swiss CO
4. Preparation of monthly- or quarterly reporting packages according to Swiss CO, IFRS and US GAAP including account reconciliations and cash flow statements
5. Processing and preparation of regular intercompany balance confirmations
6. Preparation of corporate tax returns and VAT returns
7. Manage Payroll administration including social security and wage tax contributions filing
8. Identify areas within the accounting process for potential improvements
9. Participate in incorporation-, restructuring-, and liquidation projects
Required profile
Profile
10. Preferable HBO or University degree in accountancy, business, finance or related discipline
11. 3 years of relevant prior working experience in fiduciary or accounting field
12. Knowledge of Payroll administration including social security and wage tax
13. Good knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) accounting rules
14. Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP is an advantage, but not a requirement
15. Fluency in English and German (written, spoken, report writing) – a good level of French is an advantage (but not a must)
16. Excellent analytical skills; proactive; conscientious; well organized and a team player attitude
