We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our Compliance team at the Partners Group Headquarters in Zug. Candidates should have a solid background in legal and regulatory compliance related to financial institutions and should be comfortable working with international and multi-disciplinary teams. The Swiss Compliance team provides legal and policy advice, along with regulatory expertise, to Partners Group’s teams in Switzerland, safeguarding the interests and reputation of the company. In this role, you will support the Head of Compliance Switzerland and the Head of Compliance Europe / Middle East, both based in Zug. Focusing on Swiss and European regulation, you will ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will be part of a diverse, global Compliance team in a dynamic, fast-growing environment. Responsibilities: Maintain Partners Group's compliance monitoring program for Switzerland. Manage compliance systems and controls, perform checks, and conduct investigations. Draft and review compliance reports, directives, and procedures. Coordinate regulatory filings. Participate in regulatory projects (e.g., AIFMD II and ESG Regulation). Review marketing materials and activities. Liaise with auditors and prepare documentation for regulatory audits. Perform AML checks for Partners Group AG. Stay updated on regulatory developments in Switzerland and Europe. What we expect: A degree in law, business administration, or finance, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in compliance, audit, or legal roles within financial services. An entrepreneurial, analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and implement processes successfully. Interest in leveraging new technologies to streamline compliance workflows, collaborating with IT specialists. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A self-motivated, fast learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office. High integrity, confidentiality, and judgment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
