Overview

For our sales unit in the Instrumentation business unit of the Measurement & Analytics division, we are looking for a sales representative in the field to support our customers with sales skills, retain them and acquire new customers for our business. The Measurement & Analytics business unit offers instrumentation solutions for the process industry, with a portfolio including flow, pressure, temperature, and level measurement technologies, as well as electric actuators & positioners and service and digital solutions. This position reports to the Sales Manager and covers the north-western and central Switzerland territory.
Responsibilities
* As a member of an expert sales team, take responsibility for the sales territory in north-western and central Switzerland, inspiring both existing and new customers.
* Leverage experience in selling measuring devices to negotiate effectively and present products to customers across industries.
* Collaborate with the internal sales team to process inquiries, prepare quotations and concepts through to order placement by the customer.
* Serve customers by regularly attending appointments at their premises or via Teams and at exhibitions; advise on technology, pricing, and commercial terms across industries.
Qualifications
* Successful degree as an engineer (or technician) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, chemical engineering or a comparable field.
* At least two years of experience in sales of measurement technology (or technical experience in B2B automation and electrical engineering).
* Fluent written and spoken German and English (French is an advantage).
* Strong presentation and analytical skills to understand technical issues and develop solutions.
* Sales-oriented, collegial personality with good people skills and a proactive approach.
