Join us and help run what runs the world. /p h3Job Title /h3 pQuality Manager /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organisational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams to achieve and exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. /li liHelp the organisation achieve the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root‑cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. /li liCollaborate with local functions to impact quality results, reach unit targets, and aim for world‑class performance. /li liAnalyze customer and process issues systematically to identify root causes and initiate cases in the Practical Problem Solving (PPS) tool to track corrective activities and ensure resolution. /li liPresent quality reports and improvement initiatives to customers, with systematic follow‑up on agreed actions. /li liDefine containment, corrective, and preventive actions. Facilitate Level 2 Quality Circles and escalates critical cases to the line manager when necessary. /li liContribute to the improvement of key quality metrics including First Pass Yield (FPY) manufacturing, Supplier PPM, Customer DPU, and overall Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ). /li /ul h3Working Conditions /h3 pHybrid work model. The role contributes to the Power Protection, Smart Power division in Quartino, Switzerland. /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. /li liMinimum 5 years of experience in quality or an equivalent role. /li liDeep understanding of quality processes, problem‑solving methodologies, and continuous improvement tools. /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to engage stakeholders at all organisational levels. /li liFlexibility to work beyond standard hours and perform effectively under pressure. /li liFluent in English and Italian (written and spoken). /li liLean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus. /li liWillingness to travel up to 10% of the time for customer visits and site inspections. /li /ul h3EEO Statement /h3 pABB is an equal opportunity employer.
