Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Forecasting
* Lead the annual budgeting, long‑range planning, and forecasting processes across all business units.
* Build dynamic financial and operating models to evaluate growth strategies, operational initiatives, and investment opportunities.
* Partner with the CFO and leadership team to translate strategic initiatives into measurable KPIs.
Business Performance & Decision Support
* Provide timely, data‑driven insights on revenue and profitability trends.
* Develop KPIs to monitor business health and drive accountability.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, helping them identify opportunities to drive operational efficiency and align financial performance with business objectives.
Transformation Leadership
* Partner with IT, Operations, and Claims leadership to modernize reporting infrastructure, automate processes, and implement new FP&A tools.
* Streamline planning and reporting workflows to improve accuracy, speed, and transparency.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement and financial discipline as the company scales.
Reporting & Governance
* Prepare financial reporting and presentations for the Executive Team, Board of Directors and investors/lenders.
* Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial and operational data across systems and reporting platforms.
* Lead a small but growing team, developing talent and building analytical capabilities across the finance organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has supervisory responsibilities with two subordinate supervisors reporting to this role. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university or equivalent education and experience. Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills are required.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
* 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, including leadership roles in insurance, TPA, or healthcare services industries.
* Deep understanding of Workers’ Compensation, Corporate Liability, or Risk Management financial dynamics.
* Proven track record of leading FP&A functions through growth, transformation, or system modernization.
* Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills—able to simplify complexity and influence at all levels.
* Proficiency with ERP and BI tools (e.g., NetSuite, Workday Adaptive, Power BI, Tableau).
Salary
$150,000 - $225,000
