Job Description
We are seeking a talented professional to strengthen technical core competencies and develop new technologies and products in the field of fluid handling system.
* Lead design control in concept and product development, ensuring seamless integration of innovative ideas.
* Develop and implement Design-for-Manufacturing processes and CAD (3D-modelling and drawing) techniques to optimize production efficiency.
* Plan, execute, and document exploratory pre-development projects to drive technical progress.
* Strengthen technical core competencies through strategic workstreams, focusing on continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute product development projects, leveraging technical expertise and driving investigations.
* Prepare comprehensive technical documentation (specification, implementation, verification, validation) in accordance with the product development process.
* Define, request, and assess design verification reports (including metrology reports and mechanical testing), ensuring rigorous quality standards.
* Establish and maintain partnerships with external development partners and suppliers to foster innovation and growth.
* Pursue new technologies for product-, and process-related innovations across strategic business segments Adhesives, Dental, and Healthcare.
* Monitor market and new product developments in Dental, Industry, and Surgery sectors, identifying opportunities for growth.
* Provide technical and product-related expertise to internal stakeholders (Sales, Product Management, Quality, Operations, etc.), supporting their needs.
Qualifications/Education:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field.
Necessary Competence:
* Demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for conceptual development.
* Product development of plastic products (minimum 3 years' experience).
* CAD skills (minimum 3 years' experience).
* Open-minded, positive attitude, self-organizing, and proactive approach.
* Systematic, creative, and innovative problem-solving skills.
* Technical project management expertise.
Preferred Competence:
* CAD skills with Siemens NX software.
* Toolmaking (injection molding) expertise.
* Medical or dental devices, packaging, or consumables experience.
* Automation technology knowledge.
* Simulation technology or self-executed simulations (structural, flow, process).
* Electrical engineering background.
* Tolerance calculations proficiency.
* GPS-drawings expertise.
Language:
Fluency in German and English, spoken and written.
