About the Job
This senior production leader role is responsible for managing a large-scale manufacturing unit, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The successful candidate will lead a team of production managers, supervisors, and specialists, driving performance, cost control, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the operational activities of the manufacturing unit to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
* Leading a team of production managers, supervisors, and specialists to drive performance, cost control, and operational excellence.
* Developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and increase productivity.
* Overseeing human resource management, resource planning, and effective communication of production priorities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor or Master's degree in a Science/Engineering related field such as Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent.
* In-depth knowledge of Drug Substances manufacturing, GMP, and safe work environment leadership.
* Lean practitioner and Green/Black Belt Certification (an advantage).
* Strong business understanding, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent communication skills and interaction with internal and external interfaces.
* Fluency in English (German an advantage).
As a key member of the Site Leadership Team, you will oversee human resource management, resource planning, and the effective communication of production priorities. Your role will also include implementing continuous improvement initiatives, supporting the site leadership, and maintaining high standards in production management and team development.
