We create spaces where different stakeholders engage openly, build trust, and collaborate to help solve shared global challenges. /ppbContext and why we are recruiting? /b /ppWithin the World Economic Forum’s Centre for Energy and Materials (CENMAT), the role of the Emerging Markets Deployment (EMD) Team is to equip emerging and developing economies with insights, dialogues, and partnerships that are tailored to advancing their unique energy, materials and industrial transitions circumstances. Through close collaboration with key public and private stakeholders, this role provides an opportunity to drive high-level impact and elevate the needs of emerging markets in achieving their energy, materials and industrial transitions. /ppbReporting line and how is this role embedded in the wider team? /b /ppUnder the leadership of the Emerging Markets Head, you will support the delivery of CENMAT’s global activities in emerging markets, with a specific focus on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). You will interact with a broad range of Forum colleagues and external stakeholders, including companies, governments, research institutions and civil society organizations at senior levels. /ppbWhat will you be responsible for? /b /plipDeliver energy, industrial and materials-related Forum projects based on the priorities of business and government stakeholders in the regions, with an initial focus in MENA. /p /lilipSupport the engagement of the Saudi Arabia Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution through advisory and project management, ensuring their alignment with CENMAT priorities. /p /lilipCoordinate stakeholder consultations, run periodic analysis and desktop research translating insights into the production of pre-reads, internal briefings, reports, blogs, and session structures. /p /lilipSupport the identification and engagement of stakeholders in programming and events to strengthen regional activities undertaken by the Centre for Energy and Materials. /p /lilipManage regular partner retention and acquisition activities with the view to target high-quality growth advancing the Forum’s engagement and impact across emerging and developing markets, utilizing Forum tools including Tableau and Salesforce. /p /lilipProvide transversal coordination support to the wider EMD Team on regional analysis, calendars/milestones scheduling, and communications for all regional activities. /p /lipbWhat core knowledge, skills and experience are we looking to add to our team? /b /plipMaster’s degree in energy, environmental sciences, sustainable development, international relations, public policy, or related fields. /p /lilip4+ years of relevant professional experience in multistakeholder contexts.  /p /lilipHigh level familiarity with energy, industrial and materials transition topics in the Middle East preferred. Understanding of local policy context, business etiquette and dynamics. /p /lilipDemonstrated experience in addressing energy or industrial transformation challenges in an emerging market context and leading complex multi-stakeholder projects in the Middle East is considered a plus. /p /lilipPurpose-driven individual, motivated by the idea of creating impact and delivering value to stakeholders in support of energy, industrial, and materials agendas. /p /lilipAbility to proactively support event planning and coordination, stakeholder engagement and trust building across cultures and sectors. /p /lilipHigh levels of curiosity and learning agility, comfort with ambiguity, and analytical capacity to surface, articulate, contextualize and action insights in a complex multi-issue environment. /p /lilipStrong verbal and written communication skills in English.
