The Securities Trading & Treasury team is seeking a Technical IT Business Analyst to support requirements analysis, solution design, and parameterisation activities on the Avaloq Core Platform, primarily for customers across Switzerland/Liechtenstein (CH/FL) and the APAC region.
Responsibilities
* Analyze business requirements and processes within the Treasury and Securities Trading domain
* Evaluate alternative scenarios and recommend optimal business and IT solutions
* Design, build, parameterise, and maintain solutions on the Avaloq platform
* Actively participate in implementation projects and client workshops
* Manage client relationships through regular communication and professional business consulting
* Prepare reports and project documentation related to new client requirements, ongoing activities, and project status
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of Avaloq Securities Trading and Treasury solutions, implementation standards, and innovative product development initiatives
Qualifications
* University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years of experience with business analysis and requirements engineering in the financial industry
* Good programming skills
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving and conceptual skills
* Excellent client‑orientation and strong communication skills
* Self‑motivated, proactive and structured working method with a passion for learning
Bonus Qualifications
* Deep knowledge in PL/SQL
* Experience with Avaloq or other banking systems
* Experience in the Treasury and Securities area
* Understanding of relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL)
* Experience with agile methodologies
* Italian, German and French languages
