LEM Surgical AG is an innovation-driven MedTech company based in Bern, Switzerland. We are redefining spine surgery by developing a next-generation surgical robotic system that combines high-precision mechanics, advanced imaging, and intelligent software in a safety-critical clinical environment. Our systems operate in a highly demanding engineering environment where reliability, security, and performance are critical.
We are looking for an IT Systems & Infrastructure Specialist who will take full ownership of our internal IT environment and drive the continuous improvement of our IT systems. In this role, you will manage our IT infrastructure, support employees across the organization, and help implement scalable IT processes that support a fast-growing MedTech company.
Your Responsibilities
* Manage and continuously improve the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, endpoints, and cloud services.
* Provide IT support to employees and ensure reliable day-to-day system operations.
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control across internal systems and platforms.
* Maintain and improve cybersecurity practices, including endpoint security, data protection, and system monitoring.
* Coordinate IT hardware provisioning and lifecycle management (laptops, peripherals, and other equipment).
* Support the implementation and improvement of collaboration tools, documentation systems, and development environments used by engineering teams.
* Work closely with engineering, operations, and business teams to ensure IT systems support efficient workflows.
* Document IT processes and contribute to building scalable internal IT standards and policies.
Your Profile
* Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* At least 3 years of experience managing IT infrastructure.
* Strong knowledge of operating systems and endpoint management.
* Strong knowledge of networking technologies.
* Experience with Microsoft 365.
* Understanding of IT security best practices and data protection principles.Hands‑on mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
* Structured and reliable working style with strong ownership of responsibilities.
* Experience with Azure is a plus.
* Experience with CI/CD infrastructure for development is a plus.
* Experience with deploying and customizing GenAI agents and automated workflows is a plus.
* Experience in a regulated industry or MedTech environment is a plus.
