We are looking for a
Financial Messaging Consultant
with experience in banking or a strong technical background to strengthen our Professional Services team in the Zurich area.
In focus
You are responsible for analysing, designing, and implementing client-specific financial messaging solutions based on the Incentage platform.
You work with banks and market infrastructures to integrate applications, monitor processes, and transform data for payments and securities transactions.
You also support clients in their daily operations, ensuring stable and efficient message flows and acting as a bridge between business, IT, and operations.
Your task
* Analyse client requirements and design suitable messaging and integration solutions
* Configure and implement Incentage software components for payments and securities workflows
* Collaborate closely with client business and IT teams to ensure proper setup, testing, and go-live
* Support solution rollout and provide expertise during early operations and production support
* Identify and document improvement opportunities in client environments
* Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of our delivery methods
* Optionally, take on coordination or sub-project management tasks as your experience grows
Your profile
You will be effective in this role if most of the following applies to you, or if you are determined to get there quickly:
* You have experience in the banking or financial services environment, ideally in operations, integration, or messaging projects
* You combine conceptual thinking with a practical, hands-on approach
* You communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders
* You work independently, show initiative, and take ownership of your results
* You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* You are fluent in English and German
* Initial project management experience is an advantage
You are familiar with (or eager to learn about):
* SWIFT or ISO 20022 messaging standards
* payment transactions and securities processing
* modern infrastructure technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, SQL
