 
        
        Team Lead Metrology & Equipment Lifecycle (90%-100%)
Our client is looking for someone who will shape end-to-end metrology processes to ensure compliant, efficient, and scalable laboratory operations.
Responsibilities
 * Build, lead, and develop a high-performing metrology team;
 * Own and drive the full equipment lifecycle: onboarding, qualification, maintenance, change management, and decommissioning;
 * Establish harmonized processes and documentation standards for equipment across all lab units;
 * Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements across all metrology activities;
 * Coordinate with external service providers and key internal stakeholders (labs, QA, IT, procurement);
 * Drive continuous improvement and standardization of equipment management and calibration routines;
 * Support audits and regulatory inspections as the responsible metrology lead;
 * Monitor KPIs and resource planning to ensure effective, scalable team operations.
Qualifications
 * Degree in engineering, life science, or a related field – alternatively, extensive practical experience in metrology or equipment lifecycle management may also qualify;
 * Proven experience in laboratory equipment lifecycle management;
 * Leadership experience, ideally in a matrix or cross-functional team setting;
 * Deep understanding of metrology processes, regulatory compliance, and quality systems;
 * Excellent communication and organizational skills;
 * Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, pragmatic approach;
 * Very good English skills; German is an advantage.
