Job Summary
The Service Sales Leader will oversee a team of five Service Sales Engineers and actively manage key customer accounts. This role includes identifying new business opportunities, driving service sales growth, managing negotiations, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Responsibilities
Acquire customers and orders for service products
Identify potential opportunities with both existing and new customers
Identify sales opportunities, prepare proposals, and coordinate related processes to ensure high customer satisfaction
Foster customer growth and loyalty through ongoing support and service excellence
Prepare required reporting and use company‑mandated systems, software, and tools
Prepare and review contract terms and conditions using standard Trane contract templates as applicable
Develop, evaluate, and discuss solution options with customers
Lead team efforts for projects or assignments defined by the Supervisor
Maintain and update the customer database
Implement local Service Business programs
Achieve assigned sales targets and customer development goals with a strong focus on service acquisition and customer relationship development
Qualifications
Technical university degree, preferably in Heating, Cooling, or Air Conditioning
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales of technical services, products, or equipment (HVAC preferred)
Strong technical background
Strong customer orientation and well-developed sales skills
Leadership or team management abilities are a plus
Open‑minded and eager to learn and grow professionally
Strong communication skills and the ability to build long-term customer relationships
Fluency in German required; English at a communicative level; Italian or French are an advantage
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (approximately 60% of the time)
