We are seeking a Senior Operations Director to lead the launch and shaping of our new peptide manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the chemical-pharmaceutical industry, with a strong background in process research, process development, project management, and manufacturing. They will possess strong leadership experience with excellent people management, coaching, and team development skills. Additionally, they will be able to manage complex projects and drive transformational change.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Manufacturing, Science & Technology (MS&T) team, including recruitment, training, and employee development.
* Oversee the execution of commercial and new manufacturing campaigns, ensuring timely, quality-compliant, and cost-efficient operations.
* Lead master production scheduling and resource optimization in alignment with S&OP processes.
* Drive process optimization to enhance competitiveness and efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with SHE regulations, cGMP, ISO standards, and internal quality guidelines.
* Establish and maintain state-of-the-art manufacturing infrastructure, ensuring premises and equipment meet industry standards.
* Lead technology transfer activities, ensuring seamless integration and execution.
* Support and participate in audits to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the organization.
Requirements:
* Master's degree (preferably Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
* Extensive experience in the chemical-pharmaceutical industry.
* Strong leadership experience with excellent people management skills.
* Ability to manage complex projects and drive transformational change.
* Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
* Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to customers and stakeholders.
* Fluent in English.
