We’re seeking a results driven Technical Service & Development Engineer to lead technical service and application development across EMEA, with a strong focus on customer impact and innovation.
Your Role: Driving Customer Success Through Innovation and Advanced Technical Support
1. Partner with Sales & Marketing to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
2. Lead complex development projects in Aerospace, EV, and other fast-growing sectors.
3. Translate customer challenges into actionable development programs with measurable business outcomes.
4. Provide expert consultation on material selection, part design, and performance optimization/validation.
5. Develop prototype parts, define test plans, and analyze results in collaboration with lab teams to validate performance and accelerate customer adoption.
6. Serve as the focal technical contact for direct accounts and distributors across EMEA.
7. Resolve complex technical issues in partnership with global manufacturing and quality teams.
8. Develop and deliver advanced training for customers and internal teams.
9. Create technical content, case studies, and competitive benchmarking.
10. Represent DuPont at key industry events, developing and presenting technical papers, engaging with thought leaders.
What You Bring
11. Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
12. 3+ years of experience in polymer applications, with a strong customer-facing track record
13. Deep knowledge in Aerospace and/or Transportation industries.
14. Experience with polymers and CAD (FEA is a plus).
15. Fluent in English; French and other European languages are a plus.
16. Strong communicator with a consultative mindset and hands-on problem-solving approach.
17. Willingness to travel (30-40%)
