As a C++ Software Developer, you will join a high‑impact, execution‑focused engineering group working directly with traders and quants. The firm has recently hired senior talent from leading market‑making firms, and you will be working alongside experienced specialists in options and low‑latency trading.
Responsibilities
* Build and optimise low‑latency C++ execution engines, market data handlers, and exchange connectivity.
* Develop real‑time options pricing, quoting, and order handling with ultra‑low‑latency performance.
* Maintain order books, exchange state, and high‑throughput messaging across large instrument universes.
* Implement order management logic including quoting, hitting/lifting, mass cancel, feed replay, and reconciliation workflows.
* Design scalable data stores for pricing, parameters, trades, and positions, supporting clearing and margin processes.
* Collaborate closely with traders, quants, and risk teams to integrate models, execution logic, and real‑time control tools into production systems.
Required Profile
* Strong C++ expertise in performance‑critical systems
* Deep understanding of low‑latency networking, binary protocols, and optimisation techniques
* Experience building electronic trading, execution, or market‑making systems
* Direct exposure to options trading systems or options market making is highly preferred
* Ability to optimise systems for latency, throughput, and reliability at scale
