Job Description Summary The Technology, Quality and Process Leader is responsible for supporting Generator and Electrical Systems (GES) Engineering Quality functions and value streams across multiple operational areas. This role provides leadership in quality management, process improvement, and engineering excellence initiatives within the GES organization. The position requires alignment with the updated 2026 Quality setup, management of engineering quality systems, and coordination of critical quality processes including SQDC, strategic priorities, KPI tracking, improvement actions, and audit planning. There is moderate autonomy within the role, with high levels of operational judgment required to achieve quality outcomes and drive continuous improvement across GES engineering functions. Job Description Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Responsible to ensure GES & the Engineering Quality Function & Value Streams is in alignment with the updated 2026 Quality setup Manage GES SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) strategic priorities, Bowler Charts & KPIs, improvement actions, and audit planning Execute Process & System Audits, Quality Management Reviews (QMR), Quality Management Systems (QMS), Product Safety Reviews (PSRs), Value Stream Mapping (VSMs), and Continuous Improvement Methods including 3x5 Why analysis Ensure timely reporting of required GES NCR data with proper case assignment Maintain low average number of open NCRs through effective case management Work collaboratively with case owners to ensure efficient case handling and initiate and follow up on NCR-specific corrective actions Follow up on Design Practice KPIs, tracking schedules and actions Manage DP maintenance and updates, organizing regular progress reviews Coordinate Design Data annual planning with leadership, track progress, and organize regular reviews and ensure new needs and requirements are adequately considered and aligned with the Chief Engineering Office Manage GES Generator ERS activities and case handling in SharePoint systems Assess new incoming cases and drive accepted Generator cases through established processes Qualifications: B.S. in Engineering Excellent project management skills Several years of experience with thermal power plant generators / projects Experience leading cross-functional, multinational teams (engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, field service) Experience in quality management systems implementation, audits and maintenance Experience defining and standardizing processes Demonstrated leadership in fostering a strong SQDC culture (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills Proven track record of delivering results, leading teams in a dynamic business environment Strong leadership skills capable of influencing at all levels of the organization Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems Desired Qualifications : Advanced Engineering degree Systems engineering experience with focus on turbogenerator and electrical systems PMP certified KPI Management and Performance tracking experience Experience with PLM systems (Enovia PLM) Knowledge and familiarity of legacy Alstom and legacy GE turbogenerator designs Prior engineering or team leader experience in an engineering organization Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No
