Are you a skilled automation engineer with experience in developing and/or maintaining control systems for large complex devices? Then seize the opportunity and join the Safety and Operation (SO) section of the ATLAS Detector (ADO) group of the Experimental Physics (EP) department. Within our team, you will contribute to the design, development, construction and commissioning of the Detector Safety System (DSS) for the ATLAS Experiment.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the design, development, construction and commissioning of the Detector Safety System (DSS) for the ATLAS Experiment within the Safety and Operation (SO) section of the ATLAS Detector (ADO) group of the Experimental Physics (EP) department.
* Develop and maintain control systems for large, complex devices.
Eligibility / Qualifications
* You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
* By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Electronics Engineering (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
* You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
* Applicants without University degree are not eligible.
* Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.
