We are currently looking for a Digital Campaign and Project Manager in Switzerland.
This freelance role offers the opportunity to manage and deliver high-impact digital advertising campaigns within a fast-moving international media environment. You will oversee end-to-end campaign execution while acting as the key coordination point between clients, agencies, and internal teams. The role requires strong project management capabilities combined with hands‑on expertise in digital advertising operations. You will be responsible for ensuring campaigns run smoothly, perform effectively, and meet client expectations across multiple channels. Acting as a trusted external partner, you will also play a key role in maintaining and strengthening relationships with major advertisers. This is a dynamic position suited for a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a remote, fast‑paced, and deadline‑driven setting.
Accountabilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of digital campaigns, including setup, optimization, monitoring, and performance reporting across multiple client accounts.
Act as the main point of contact for clients and agencies, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure long‑term satisfaction and campaign success.
Coordinate closely with internal teams such as Sales, Pre‑Sales, Ad Operations, Product, Data, Newsroom, and Finance to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
Optimize campaign performance using industry tools such as Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, Adobe Suite, and presentation tools.
Troubleshoot campaign issues and ensure timely resolution to maintain performance and delivery standards.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve campaign efficiency, processes, and operational workflows.
Ensure clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders throughout the campaign lifecycle.
Support live campaigns and key milestones, including occasional weekend or out‑of‑hours coordination when required.
Requirements
Proven experience as a freelance or external Digital Campaign Manager, Project Manager, Ad Operations Specialist, or Account Manager in digital advertising or media.
Strong hands‑on expertise with Google Ad Manager (mandatory), including campaign setup, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Experience managing paid social campaigns, ideally using Meta Ads platforms.
Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, mobile media landscape, and campaign performance drivers.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal; additional languages such as German, Spanish, or Portuguese are a plus.
Must be a registered freelancer or operate through a legal B2B entity within Europe.
Strong problem‑solving mindset with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach.
