YOUR MISSION
Your cross-functional role will be to oversee the entire product development process for your projects, from marketing brief to delivery of the first series, with a focus on time objects and horological creations.
You are responsible for the transversal management of internal and external stakeholders in the development and launch of new high-end watches. You will work closely with the Operations and Design teams, as well as with external partners, to ensure that client and company expectations are met in terms of quality, deadlines, and costs.
YOUR ROLE IN DETAIL
Project Management & Coordination
* Manage and coordinate new product development projects specifically in watchmaking, ensuring delivery on time and on budget, while guaranteeing product quality.
* Draw up and manage project schedules to ensure successful completion, identifying potential risks and deviations as early as possible.
* Supervise and coordinate the actions of the various internal and external teams involved in the project.
* Manage the budget allocated to projects, monitoring costs and identifying any discrepancies.
Technical & Creative Collaboration
* Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify technical and aesthetic solutions in the design/prototyping phase for complex timepieces.
* Contribute expertise in watchmaking, particularly for special projects involving time objects or timer watch collections.
* Ensure the feasibility and technical excellence of each development, from conception to industrialization.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
* Stay abreast of new trends, technologies, and materials in the watchmaking industry to proactively propose innovative solutions for special projects.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the product development process, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency, quality, and creativity.
Risk Management & Reporting
* Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement appropriate corrective measures.
* Regularly present status reports and progress updates to stakeholders and management.
PROFILE
* You have a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as industrial management, mechanical engineering, or equivalent, with solid experience in watchmaking, ideally on movement development or complications projects.
* You have significant experience (+8 years) in managing development projects within the luxury watchmaking sector.
* You have an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing process and techniques used in the creation of mechanical watches and their components.
* Your personal attributes include excellent organizational skills, including time management and effective prioritization. You have natural leadership skills, enabling you to drive a multidisciplinary team towards a common goal.
* You are able to summarize complex information and solve issues effectively. Dynamism, rigor, and proactivity are essential, as is technical curiosity.
* You are fluent in French and English, with excellent oral and written skills.
* You have a perfect mastery of the Office Pack (PowerPoint), MS Project, and any other tool.
