As a Quality Inspector you will inspect engines, modules, and parts during and after the disassembly process, ensuring that all reused parts are serviceable and that unacceptable findings are corrected. The employee ensures a flawless quality and acts as the first interface between SR Technics engine maintenance services and the customer.
Responsibilities
* Perform technical inspection and assessment of aircraft engine assemblies (PW4000) on schedule and according to the OEM’s specifications and engineering order.
* Create repair orders for engines, modules and parts, and request and carry out engine modifications.
* Complete all assigned activities in a technical and administrative manner in accordance with applicable regulations.
* Check modifications carried out on individual parts and assemblies.
* Carry out assigned work on time and ensure its quality.
* Apply Lean Six Sigma (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis).
* Continuously improve processes with the aim of enhancing quality and safety.
Qualifications
* Completed apprenticeship, preferably as a polymechanic EFZ or equivalent mechanical apprenticeship.
* Ability to work independently, accurately and responsibly.
* Good teamwork and communication skills.
* Good health, able to work under pressure.
* Personal responsibility and self‑motivation are expected.
* PC user skills in MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
* Good written and spoken German and English (level B1).
* Willingness to work in 2 shifts.
