Description
* Oversee complex global accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly and annual closings
* Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations to ensure consistency across global subsidiaries
* Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards (IFRS)
* Ensure compliance with local and international regulations
* Support internal and external audits at group level
* Oversee the global and consolidated reporting matters
* Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in global accounting workflows
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and finance departments in different countries and act as an advisor for various subsidiaries and global finance leaders
* Conduct trainings for various Stakeholders and develop team members
Profile
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration on Master Level or similar (Swiss CPA, Chartered Expert in Financial Managerial Accounting and Reporting)
* Experience in international accounting, particularly in a global corporate structure
* Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAPs and a genuine interest in staying up to date
* Proficiency in Excel and SAP
* Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment. Any additional languages are an asset
* Analytical mindset, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
