The Position
Our team belongs to a newly formed central GMP‑Support organization (Operations Support & Compliance, PTDC‑T) at our Basel site. With modern tools—including AI‑powered software systems—the team ensures reliable and efficient execution of all GMP and related business processes. Responsibilities include quality management system (QMS), quality risk management (QRM), training, document management, data trending, and inspection management, with a focus on the Drug Product Clinical Supply Center (DP CSC (Parenterals) BS) where sterile dosage forms are produced and filled.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and develop IT/AI tools for automated business process handling.
* Keep the department’s internal website up to date and improve it.
* Support cross‑departmental staff in day‑to‑day operations (e.g., scheduling, issuance of service badges, archive support, presentation creation).
* Identify, design, and implement solutions and optimization ideas for various workflows.
Qualifications
* Ambitious bachelor’s or master’s student, or holder of a master’s degree not older than 12 months.
* Studying (preferably) in the natural sciences/life sciences, engineering/technical sciences, or business disciplines.
* Strong interest in digital information management technologies (e.g., Google Suite, SmartSheet, Trello) and comfortable using such tools.
* Enthusiastic about a dynamic, innovation‑driven production environment.
* Team‑ and solution‑oriented with a keen sense of customer needs.
* Thorough, structured, and systematic working style.
* Excellent German and English language skills in written and spoken form.
* Start of internship: March 2026.
* Duration: 6–12 months.
* Location: Basel.
* Position is not suitable for thesis writing.
Additional Requirement for Non‑EU/EFTA Citizens
The study must take place at a Swiss educational institution.
