Your Role
As a Group Manager Data Centre (f/m/d), you will lead the operations and performance of multiple data centers or campuses, ensuring maximum reliability, efficiency, and compliance across all technical and operational functions. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, incident and problem management, and ensure adherence to our global standards of safety, sustainability, and service excellence.
In this strategic role, you will translate operational strategy into actionable plans, driving results across Service Operations, Site Management, Technical Operations, and Energy Efficiency. You will act as a key escalation point for critical incidents, guide cost management initiatives, and foster collaboration across regional and global teams to continuously enhance operational quality and resilience.
Your leadership will shape high-performing teams, instill a culture of safety and accountability, and strengthen customer confidence through operational excellence and transparent stakeholder engagement.
Your Profile
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial) or Business Administration with a technical focus
2. At least 10 years of senior management experience in mission-critical operations, preferably within multi-site data centers
3. Deep understanding of core infrastructure systems (UPS, generators, chillers, switchgear, cooling systems)
4. Proven leadership in managing technical teams and operational managers across multiple locations
5. Strong experience in cost control, asset lifecycle planning, and maintenance strategy development
6. Advanced knowledge of ITIL processes, root cause analysis, and change management
7. Strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational efficiency, compliance, and customer focus
8. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, fluent in English and German
