Overview
As a Product Quality & Recovery Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team that ensures top-quality products, minimizes waste, and maximizes cost efficiency. Your focus will be on maintaining high customer satisfaction while driving sustainability efforts within the store.
* 2-3 years of leadership experience in a retail or commercial environment.
* Strong understanding of customer behavior in an omnichannel setting.
* Expertise in product quality, safety, and recovery processes.
* Knowledge of merchandising techniques and how to create a commercially attractive As-Is area.
* Familiarity with IKEA’s product range, IT systems, and sustainability principles.
* Business-oriented mindset with a focus on driving profitability and operational efficiency.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a high-volume retail environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to improve processes.
* Excellent communication ability in German and English and good interpersonal, influencing skills.
* A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

* Establish effective blocking and sales stop processes to prevent defective or recalled products from reaching customers.
* Set and track department goals, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Implement common working methods, tools, and processes to optimize product quality, safety, and recovery.
* Promote IKEA’s sustainability and environmental commitments, ensuring all waste is properly managed.
* Develop team members and create a succession plan for future leadership roles.
