KIDAN is seeking a practical and versatile IT Engineer (Generalist) to support our clients throughout the German-speaking region. In this role, you’ll work directly with business and technical teams, delivering hands-on solutions and trusted advice across IT management, infrastructure, and security; helping organizations maximize the value of their technology.
Your Responsibilities
* Consult and Advise: Guide clients on a broad range of IT management and security topics; including infrastructure, endpoints, networking, monitoring, and identity/access management.
* Implement & Support: Deploy, configure, and maintain IT management and security platforms in client environments (e.g., systems for IT operations, endpoint management, infra security, ITSM).
* Client Engagement: Deliver technical workshops, product demos, and user training; translating complex topics into practical actions for client teams.
* Troubleshoot & Solve: Provide responsive remote and on-site support, addressing technical challenges and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
* Collaboration: Work closely with KIDAN’s Swiss and international team, sharing insights, solutions, and best practices in a virtual and multicultural setting.
* Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with new technologies, solutions, and trends relevant to KIDAN’s core business areas.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in IT consulting, technical support, or systems administration; covering core IT management and security domains.
* Broad technical foundations: confident with servers, endpoints, networking, and IT management/security platforms.
* Practical experience with major technologies such as endpoint security, IT service management, or infrastructure solutions.
* Fast learner, comfortable adapting to new tools and challenges as clients’ needs evolve.
* Fluent in German and English (French or Italian is a plus).
* Strong communication skills; able to present technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Proactive, customer-oriented mindset, able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Willingness to work primarily remotely, with flexibility for client visits in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
